This Saturday August 2nd is Mikey's Dad's ( Charlie Anderson ) 70th Birthday and Mikey wanted to have a ride and picnic for him up at Long Level, so we will meet up around the first landing in between 10:00 and 10:30 a.m. If anyone has a grill or wants to bring anything in particular please let know. If you are planning on attending just give me a heads up so we can look for you.

Hello Everyone,

I was talking to Mikey this morning and as usual the rain is knocking on the door again only this time it is supposed to be here in the morning, and we all know how reliable the weather people are So Mikey had asked if it rains if we could move it to Sunday which is supposed to be the better of the two days. I guess at this point since we are not supposed to be there until around 10 tomorrow I will check the weather in the morning and get with Mikey first thing and see how things are, If it is just something small I am sure we will be out. In the event that it rains just give me a heads up if Sunday works for you as well. Make sure to check your e-mail as well as the forum tomorrow morning after say 7:30 a.m.

Good mourning everyone ! I just want to say it is very ugly weather & drizzle . It just doesn't look good for today . Tomorrow is going to be sunny So I am having the party tomorrow ! My dad doesn't want to go over today with the storms that there calling for & it cool & damp . Sorry for the bad news .

We'll be out on the water today, as the weather bug icon shows showers to the east of the river.

We probably can't make it tomorrow as we planned on today.

So we are heading out at 8:00 if anyone else cares to go.

Just picked your phone message and saw Mikey's post. Right now we are getting some rain and some lightning around here so as soon as it passes I can make my way out there. I believe Nate will be out there as well today and more than likely Len if he is not working.

I just wanted to say thank you to Steve , Jen , & Nate for coming out on Sunday ! I just wish Watts would have been there to see how full it got on Sunday ! I am sorry that people came on land to give my dad a B-day cake & then I took a lady from work on a ride to the sand bar & didn't get to ride much with you guys . Heading to OC , MD without the skis next Sunday -Wed for a realaxation on the beach to watch some sea gulls !
