| Looks like time for a new wear ring, thats about an hour job. hint take an old soldering Iron and melt 2 grooves in it all the way down to the metal of the pump. Then snap it out with plyers , much easier than a saw. Another hint, put your plastic wear ring in the freezer for and hour or so, it will slid right in the pump. |

| If I do it myself, do I need to remove the whole jet nosel? What is the best way about doing this? Is it a DIY type job or is it better left to the pros Thanks |

Yes you will need to remove the nozzel and the jet pump, it's not really that hard to do. I suggest going to a web site like Greenhulk.com and read up on the how to's section. I have had my jet pump in and out several times changing wear ring and impellers on my RXT. Your impeller looks like it has some dings in it too, SBT offers to refurbish them for $24.95 if yours is the stock one all you have to do is pay them for a refurbished one they will ship it to you and then send yours back when you get it off. How far away from Maryland do you live? Maybe I could help you (if the beer is cold) |
